A terrorist attack has shaken London. To everyone to thinks or has thought that there was no need for a war on terror, get ready to eat your words. In times like these, we need to come together not only in a national effort, but a GLOBAL effort to stop terrorism wherever it may be.
In order to GAIN freedoms, we must first GIVE UP freedoms... With freedom comes GREAT responsibility. In this country, I don't think the majority of people realize this. As a nation, we have a tendancy to take things for granted. We critisize a war that is being fought to keep America safe. A war being fought to keep even the CRITICS safe. We complain about having to pay $2.30 a gal for gas, but we continue to drive our SUVS that suck up gas at the rate of 15 mpg. Something needs to be done. But the change cannot be legislated. The change needs to come from within all of us. Each person needs to take responsibility for their actions, and stop placing blame on everyone else.
