I just hung out with a large group of old friends while visiting here in good ol' CO, and came to a realization: A great friend can make you feel like you're better than you are. You may even start to believe that you're better than you are. If you're lucky, maybe you'll even become the person that others see you as.
I'm lucky enough to have some awesome friends, both in CO and Memphis. I think in both places I've been lacking in my friendly duty. I need to be more of the afore mentioned friend-type. Though I've never been deceitful, vindictive, or malicious toward friends, I apologize for being--at times--a selfish friend.
To all my friends (you know who you are): Thank you for all that you do for me, both consciously and unknowing.
Also, Happy Birthday again to two great people, I can't say it enough.
