Have already reported to Gargaj that it runs chaos theory from XP in rediculousxinsane resolution - however it was upside down. Very little slowdown. oh and I forgot, 16x9 aspect.
Going to try Bootcamp from an external HD now, see if that works, if it does, will return the machine to being pure and not contminated; will also see how Parallels compares to the beta from VMware. I fully expect VMware to be better but we bought Parallels for work from the apple store. Person(s) who might see this who would care and possibly know who to tell - get them to put copies in the Apple Stores. Seriously. My boss is the type who'll pick something like that up at the Apple store on a whim, but if I tell him to get it, it'll be a month or two and questioning if we really need it. (duh! but, see, impulse buy vs. justification. )
Oh, and, the freaking vmware download does not work from Opera. Hell vmware's site doesn't work very well from Opera; it has massive issues with Firefox at times (displaying completely whacked menus) and it doesn't work from Safari at all for submitting forms. Someone in the web department there needs to be bought a macbook pro! (:
Anyway, setup is continuing and soon I will have environment and can try to do a little fullscreen opengl thingage. Without sdl setup this time.
