Just got back from Tokyo last night; while it was good overall, I'm happy and relieved to be back in Hirono, and my wallet is, too. I'm actually just tallying up the receipts, and I somehow spent nearly 7man over the five days . . . that's more than I spent for the entire May. oO Anyway, I'll probably write more about Tokyo on the weekend since I'm still feeling some lingering dead-tiredness. -_-
Weird Moment of the Day
I couldn't choose which was weirder of these two, so . .
1. Nearly everyone of the 1nensei spelt "number" incorrectly on their practice test today. Namber, Nunbr . . . someone even used the French spelling, nombre. Probably the worst possible misspelling though was "nambla." oO Y'know, I usually explain funny mistakes to the kids, but there was NO WAY I was explaining that one.
2. And during the break, someone "accidentally" pushed the fire alarm, causing the staff to run wild all over the school trying to find out what was going on. I ran up to the classroom floor and asked a group of 2nensei boys about it . . .
Me: "What happened?! Is there a fire?!"
Student A: "How are you?"
Student B: "Ok ok!"
Student C: "Did you have sex?"
