Woah, I haven't updated in like, forever! I'M NOT DEAD YET PEOPLE! BEHOLD, THE LJ UPDATE!

You know, the other week I actually decided to update, but my computer crashed in the middle and I didn't feel like typing it all over again.

Anyways...

I just did my first mass in choir today! It went really well! Hooray for not cracking on any of the high notes or forgetting the words! And the songs were liek so kewl. I love the Catholic services, with the incense and the banners and the candles and the organs and the big pointy hats. Today they even had these huge 20' bendy pole thingies with ribbons and stuff, and the guy was swinging it around and it was pretttty. I almost ran into the person in front of me when we were walking down the aisles because I was watching the ribbon thingy. I so want one of those. That would be like, teh awesome.

ihearthdarth is discontinuing her amazingfully awesome comic! If you haven't read it yet, look her up. You will love it.

Good bye, ihearthdarth, and thank you for your dedication! WE WILL MISS J00!

Not to ruin the solemn mood, but I found another awesome comic on 4chan. April and May is teh funnehs ^_^ Kind of reminds me of Excel Saga...

I saw Advent Children and Last Order! Omfg luffles! Advent Children was pretty good, although it was way too short. Not enough character development or anything. But it was pretty. Oooooh, the prettyful CGIness. <3 I would type much more but I'm still pissed at the computer for crashing and deleting my last entry. So instead of going down to every ittybitty detail, I'm just going to leave it with that and get on with it.
Last Order was awesome! Unlike AC, which takes place after the ending of FFVII, Last Order is a 30 minute anime based on two significant parts of FFVII: The Nibelheim Sephygocrazy part, and Cloud and Zack escaping from Shinra weird experiment things after the Nibelheim incident. The art was really good too! I love how they drew Cloud and his totally zombie-ish expression. And Zack-kun is so cute protecting poor braindeadish Cloud-kun ^^

HARRY POTTER IS MY NEW OBSESSION.

I don't remember if I first started reading the books last week or the week before, but once I read the first one, I couldn't stop! I just finished book six tonight. Of course, I already knew what happened, but it was still such a shock when it did. You know what's really scary though? After reading so much HP, I think I'm starting to develop a British accent. O_o It's like, when you read, you can hear it being spoken, and when you hear accents enough then you'll start to have an accent too. Double you tee eff?

And it is just me, or does Snape remind anyone of Sra. Gonzales?
--An example (from pp. 459-460 of book six):

"But Potter seems to have a lot to say on the subject," said Snape, pointing suddenly at the back of the room, his black eyes fixed on Harry. "Let us ask Potter how we would tell the difference between an Inferius and a ghost."

The whole class looked around at Harry, who hastilly tried to recall what Dumbledore had told him the night they had gone to visit Sludhorn.

"Er--well--ghosts are transparent--" he said.
"Oh, very good," interrupted Snape, his lip curling. "Yes, it is easy to see that nearly six years of magical education have not been wasted on you, Potter. 'Ghosts are transparent.'"

I can sooo see Sra. saying that, especially the last line. XD

Ah, beloved GD, my home. As always, war continues between the prommies, regulars, n00bs, and trolls. There's been a new trend today though--talking about old trends.

"Well, what Harry said is the most useful if we're trying to tell them apart!" said Ron. "When we come face-to-face with one down a dark alley, we're going to be having a shufti to see if it's solid, aren't we, we're not going to be asking, 'Excuse me, are you the imprint of a departed soul?'"

There was a ripple of laughter, instantly quelled by the look Snape gave the class.
