ANALOGY OF LOVE
There is a girl who has no meaning. She realized that life is absurd, she has no definition, and that she is absolutely free and nothing. Why is love attractive with someone who realized that life is absurd? When a guy confesses a love to a girl then suddenly her life has meaning. Why? Because she feels important. Her existence is justified, thus, has a worth and value because of love.
After knowing that existence is absurd then before her is someone claiming to her that she defines him. That claim is a choice or promise. That promise can be broken because he has a choice. Therefore, love is uncertain that’s why it requires faith.
“Love is that uncertainty that defines.” You know that it is uncertain but it gives you meaning.
For love to be successful, the guy should constantly affirm his promise. He should constantly choose to love the girl that defines him.
Love is an act of faith. Both the guy and the girl has the choice to still love the other. That’s why love can also be defined as “the fusion of two uncertainties that can receive a certainty”.
True love doesn’t exist. Love becomes true when you have the conviction to love constantly. Conviction is something that makes you not to choose otherwise. It helps a person make a choice no matter what even though love is not there.
Therefore, love is a choice. You can’t find true love but you can choose to make love true.
