IT'S LIKE MAGIC!!!

It's my second night away from Chicago and I've come home with a cold, an obsession with tennis (no, really, I stayed up til 12 at night watching this one game that would not end), nostalgia (RIP Lolo), and plenty of inside jokes to laugh at when I call mah twinnay. It'll be gravy. *thumbs up*

While I was away, college finally sent me my roommate situation, almost a month and a half after the day they told us they'd notify us about residential stuff. Meanies. But it got me all excited liek waoh. College is this much closer within my grasp and I can just taste freedom... WHOOPAH!!!

...

*coughs delicately*

The problem is that the situation is tentative since there are so many people coming in as freshman this year. Apparently I'll be rooming with two other people. The one who emailed me, Kati, seems really nice and I replied back, and emailed my other roommate Hao aka Helen. Hopefully, I didn't terrify them too much (at the time, I was really hyper) and they won't mind living with an utter nutcase someone like me. *crosses fingers*

In other news, I got a haircut!!! My hair ends at my collarbone and it's layered, as usual, but twist of the day: I have bangs. I haven't had them since I was like... 7 or something so it's kinda weird seeing my forehead somewhat covered. I don't know if I like them or not. Too bad I don't have a webcam, otherwise I'd be camwhoring like nobody's business. Because I'm vain, haha.

Oh, and I got my eyebrows waxed again, so no longer do they look like small bushy rectangles hovering above my head, like they have in the past few weeks. No-siree. Seriously, my mom wouldn't let me do anything to them back in the day because it was sooo hard to find shape for them and my eyebrow hair is pretty fine. I get all this fun stuff from my dad. Damn you, genetics. *shakes fist*

Now I'm craving cheese, the melted kind. And the craving has changed from cheese to grilled cheese. And french fries.

Dear Stomach,

Please make up your mind.

Thankee,
Ivy
