Today I kinda miss Hong Kong, so I went to the HK Cafe at Hougang for dinner. Although the place, the waiting staff and the food do not resemble the Hong Kong's cha chang tengs at all, it's the closest I can get to HK. Hong Kong patronisers are likely to find the food in HK cafe here suck big time. These dishes are already bastardized with the Singaporean kopitiam elements.
The papers are filled with news of Hong Kong everyday; from mass demonstration, to Hu's visit to Hong Kong, from the two pandas, to people snatching souvenirs in Shatin. I wished I was there to picture all these events.
At the MRT station today, the commuters kept to one side of the escalator, keeping the other side for people who needed to rush. And the lane was empty.
No one seemed to be in a hurry.

A few crazy ideas ran through my head when I was listening to
Steve Job's address to the graduating class of Stanford in 2005 (on the very nice iTunes U podcast). And here I sit feeling ashamed, that I don't even dare to start. My greatest fear, the strongest inertia, commitment.
Shrugs.
Here are some quotes,
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.
