I had to sit in the car during a fairly akward moment with my friend and her mom. I don't really know what my opinion is on the whole matter, it all seems pretty messed up to me though.
My friend Mary works at Zellers, and she is in love with a guy who works there. Whether she is in love with him or not is a whole other debate, but the big problem is that she's sixteen, he's twenty-two or something. Nothing's going on between them or anything, they are just friends.
Being in Winnipeg means that we don't get any concerts. Amazingly, Aerosmith is stopping here. Being dirt poor, Mary and I don't have tickets. Brett, who Mary loves, thinks he might be able to get us some. According to Mary he's just an extremely nice guy. Mary's mom didn't take it too well, she's threatening to try to get him fired because he's hitting on an underage girl. I know why she's worried, I mean Mary is rather obsessed with him. I don't know is she should be going this far. I mean, he just said he'd see if he could get some tickets from a friend, because anyone who knows Mary knows that she would kill to go the concert.
I so wish I would have just taken the bus.
