An update!!!!
So more journal neglect has happened, I am just too obsessed with Myspace.com!
But Mrs.C says I have to update, and I don’t want to risk loosing a Mt.Etna rock before I've set my piggy wee eyes on it.....so here's an update!...
I can’t believe my friend is now married! Wow!
So I have just mostly been working away in this wee job with the NHS. It’s actually pretty shit, it’s basically data entry! Definitely not what I signed up for, but it pays the rent...barely!
But I also have gotten a new job! An on-call position with the SECC ticketline. I'm well pleased about this, and I would leave my NHS job for it, but because it’s on call it means that there are no guaranteed hours so I have to work too jobs for a while. I'm hoping the SECC job will become part-time or full-time after a while.
Apart from work I haven't been up to a huge amount. I did go to see the T-Mobile Transmission show on channel 4 being filmed. It was pretty good actually, seen the Futureheads, Fratellies, ShitDisco, Dylan Marley and James Morrison. Only problem was all the waiting about. The band were playing one or two songs, which they had to do a couple of times for the different TV angles...so by 11pm cue me, Connie, Claire and Julie being mightily pissed off, tired and in need of a good pint! We headed to Coopers only to discover the bar was shut, so me and Connie got some food and walked home, Julie and Claire headed into town for a pint there.
Also went out for Debbie Priors birthday that weekend, it was a good but quiet night, I think turning 26 does that to you though!
Not been out much of late, just been so so skint lately, far too many outgoings! So spent a good deal of my time hanging about in the flat. Gordon has been round lots as well, think we've stayed together every night for a week now. We do spend an incredible amount of time together.
We also have had our first fight. We emerged relatively ok from it...but I guess the first fight had to happen at some point, just hope they aren’t too frequent!
So its Gordon’s 21st today, he's off enjoying himself with his family. I got him such a shit present; I'm really disappointed with myself about it. But I shall be seeing him later on tonight. Going out on Friday with his family for a nice meal to celebrate. Its good, I get on so well with his family, which is always a bonus.
So Connie has been away home to Seil this week, I have been missing her so badly! I always miss her when she's away, I don’t know why I miss her so much. But she is coming home tomorrow...I can’t wait!
And Jennifer is coming back from her Honeymoon soon I think so I'm hoping to god she can come to the flat warming on Saturday so I can hear all about it!
Oh yeah Jen, I left my stinky socks and trainers in your house on your wedding day! Can you apologise to whoever was unfortunate enough to come across them!!!
So yeah, flat warming is on Saturday. I'm really looking forward to it. A few of my friends who I'd really like there probably won’t be coming. Their going out for a birthday limo or something like that. Feel a bit crap, like I'm trying to steal people from her 21st night, but at the same time I really don’t feel bad, its not like I got an invite when every singer one of our other friends did. Don’t even know if I want to go, but just think it s a bit shit is all.
Anyway, won’t dwell on that....if you have managed to read this far your doing well. So I shall tell you that I ran a mile for sports relief on Saturday. I done it in about 8 minutes, I’m so so pleased with myself about it! And I managed to raise a fair wee bit of money. Go me!
Right I can’t think of much else to say. And I suppose I’d better get some work done! I'll make the same promise as always to update again soon...I'll really try to keep it this time!
