So, the other day, I hopped on the T at Park Street, and coming in from the other door was my friend Nick. As we began discussing the odds of running into each other in a city of 1/2 a million, some guy standing near us remarked that the odds were not so incredible. To illustrate his point, he cited a study which told that in a room of 100 people, it was likely that you would share a birthday with one of them. This random person decided continue explaining his argument asking that I suppose that my birthday be "June 10th". When I, interrupting his personalized take, inquired as to why he chose "June 10th", he informed me that this was in fact his birthday. So, after randomly running into my friend, starting a random conversation, and being interrupted by a random guy, who chose a random example using his own birth date to reinforce his point, perhaps the most remarkable thing was, my birthday is also June 10th.
Kinda makes you wonder if it's all random.
