Going on Va-ca-tion!
Deliriously packing and cleaning now. It's 11:15 pm and we are nearly done. Alix has taken on the role of programing the VCRs. What were we thinking, going on vacation the same week as new TV starts? The VCR in the living room has been moved to the spare bedroom to avoid programing around the home theater and dreaded cable box components. I swear figuring this stuff out requires a doctorate. Thankfully it is Alix's headache. The kitties go to the cat hotel in the morning, then off to blockbuster to return the movies we rented last weekend, then back to the house for a last sweep and off to the airport. It's 100% guarantee that we are forgetting something. At least all the prescriptions are in the bag, anything else we can get there if need be. Apparently it is rainy and cold where we are headed. I don't care, looking forward to the fireplace, wine and fishing with my dad. Back 9/19.
