I LOVE SUMMER!!!!! It is my favorite season. Still having to tell myself that for months I will not have to get up and go to school! Ok so here is the current update on the story of my life:
I am recovering from a cold. Colds are bad and evil, very evil. I went job hunting on Tuesday which is a story that I ended up telling five times at least in one day. But tomorrow I go for my 2nd interview at Chili's, my "dream job," lol. Hope all goes well and I feel better. :-/
Anyways my mom has a subscription to The Banner, which is the newspaper for the town in Indiana where we used to live. And there is a gym there that was in the movie Hoosiers, so it is sort-of famous. The point is that ESPN filmed an interview there with Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James. All at one time for this interview that was comparing Bird's and Johnson's rookie years to Anthony's and James's. But this was a really big deal for Knightstown because it is really, really small. And all of the sudden there were two stretch limos blocking the roads! lol :). The committee that takes care of preserving the gym got them all to sign a basketball that will be worth a lot! The are going to keep it in the gym. The interview will air on ESPN tentatively June 10, but it will definitely air during the NBA finals on ABC.
I went to the lake today and it was so nice to just ride around on the boat for three hours. It is really peaceful out there during the week.
