ok, i tried to do something creative and funny with this entry, but it's just not working out that way. so instead, i'm just going to say that robin's cool. a little too picky perhaps when it comes to guys (hehehe), but cool nonetheless.
robin, here's some tidbits of wisdom for you from someone who remembers this time of life quite well. these last few months of high school are going to feel very stupid to you. you're probably going to ask yourself "why am i even here?" quite a few times. and while i'm not encouraging ditching, it did help my stress level a lot that last year of high school. also, next year is going to be both exciting and difficult at the same time. you're going to be experiencing a lot of new things in a totally different environment. you're also going to feel a lot of the stress that comes with that next level of schooling. it can be really hard sometimes. the important thing is to take things one at a time. every once in a while, just sit back and take a breath and know that God is going to take care of you. with most people, i'd try to emphasize how important it is to rely on God as life changes this much, but i have a feeling that it won't be too hard for you. you have a grasp on spiritual things that some people may never have, and that's one of your greatest assets. so stay strong, robin. it might get hard at times, but God will never put you in a situation you can't handle.
so there you have it. fairly sporadic thoughts from matt at midnight. before i go, melissa has asked me to remind the readers of robin's journal of just how cool she is. also, i would like to invite everyone to come out to the orange blossom festival this saturday at 11:45am at the orange blossom stage at the corner of market and mission inn. nothing like shameless self promotion :)
