Bird flu what?

I don't know why, but the stupidity of people still amazes me. We know that putting humans in deplorable conditions can cause the spread of disease, but we do the same to animals and act all suprised when things like the "bird Flu" or "Mad Cow" pop up. Insert eyeroll here.

This may just go to show how little respect I have for the news, but I don't even know what the 'bird flu' is.

I guess I missed that segment on "What is going to kill you today" on MSNBC...
