I've been seeing chalk scribbles and phrases written in chalk all over campus and on random surfaces. On the bridge, someone just ran chalk all the way down the railing, making one super long wavy line. People have written "LEGALIZE CHALK" all over the ground, the stairs, the walls, benches, you name it. That, along with happy faces and random squiggles.
I really wonder what this is all about. Someone had written "Why the f*** is it illegal to write with chalk [on the ground]?!" on the other bridge last week. I guess there's some chalk revolution going on. Or civil disobedience involving chalk. Or a chalk protest. Maybe it's some sort of metaphor. It's driving me a little crazy, every time I walk to class.
Otherwise, life is quite nice. I'd love to talk about something much more exhilarating than curious chalk scribbles and phrases all over my school, but - alas - nothing of the sort has happened. Yet.
