sharing a bathroom with Lee has prepared me for this
SO i officially signed a sublease today.
Let us back up...
Amber has this friend named Jennifer who leased a house about a week or 2 ago. She needed to sublease it to two ppl. And Amber told Jen to call me!
THIS HOUSE IS NEARLY PERFECT.
It is in the bestest neighborhood, a mere block and a half from the water and this fantastic spot to go for jogs/walks. It's where the biggest fanciest houses are and it is less than 10 minutes away from where I work.
This house is the smallest on the block, but I don't care b/c the location is so awesome. Plus, because it is smaller, it is cheaper! I cannot BELIEVE how much I will be paying! or rather how little I will be paying!
I jumped at it so I beat everyone else to the biggest bedroom! (besides the master which of course goes to Jen who is leasing directly from the owner). But it is the same size as the master: 12'x13' The smaller is 9'x11'. I do have to share a bathroom with the girl who is in the small room. But I'm ok with this.
I actually got to meet her today too.
There were A TON of ppl interested in it, but when I met Jen at 5:30 to do the paperwork, the girl who came by to see the house at 6 ended up signing right then and there. I was glad. Because one girl that was interested has two cats. I have two cats. And Jen has one. I would be moving out of one five-cat house into another. And another interested girl is allergic to pet dander. So that would have been bad too.
I am unbelieveably excited.
I cannot wait to decorate!
