I've caught up! I'm on top of all my schoolwork and then some! I got a little carried away and am actually ahead in a bunch of the more fun classes. I don't feel even nearly as stressed as I did earlier in the year for which I am very happy. Stress can get me carried away. Especially when talk of exams start up.
I love the castle these days. Everyone is still so excited about Amelia Bones' fantastic win! I'm not too involved in politics usually but I can share in the joy. Especially after last year. Mr EX-Minister Fudge didn't exactly prove himself to be a good leader. Plus, it's good to see that all that pamphlet work in the cold didn't go to waste! I was there to support Zacharias. I didn't realise there were so many, um, conservative witches and wizards in Hogmeade. All I did was ask whether this one lady would like a pamphlet concerning Ms Bones and she started yelling and waving her cane around and it was all very uncomfortable. I'm not good at knowing what to do with situations like that so I just stood there smiling. I hope that was OK.
Oh! But the election party was the best! It was amazing seeing everyone in the Three Broomsticks (THANKS MADAM ROSMERTA). It was really tense at first but once the good news came in there was so much cheering and celebrating! I really got into it near the end and was very nervous and everything so when the winner was announced, I was so happy and surprised, I got the hiccups! Actually, I kept hiccuping till the next morning when I had to ask Madam Pomfrey for a potion to stop them. I think I hiccuped through my sleep, even, but it didn't ruin the night at all. Very pleased.
