I need a crash course in icon making with Photoshop Elements. I don't want to do anything fancy, just more than cropping and re-sizing. I've goen to the icon journals and tutorials, but honestly? I learn better by practical application. I can't read that stuff then do it. I should say, I can, but I won't ( Read more... )

Waaah! I wish I could go there and meet y'all. My older sister lives in Charlotte! I could combine visits! Alas, am too broke to do it (plus I used up a lot of good will with the DH when I went to Chicago to meet shocolate). Oh well. Some other time, maybe. I'm still on track for going to The Witching Hour and I know I'll meet some folks there:)

I haven't worked with Photoshop Elements, but I have worked with Illustrator and regular Photoshop. Photoshop Elements sounds like some cheap, inexpensive version of Photoshop. Truth be told, I don't like Photoshop for regular image resizing and cropping. Anyhow ( ... )

Well, I live in Charlotte, but doubt I can make the trip to meet y'all, so I'll just wave in your direction when you're here! Are you going to be doing the Raleigh tourist thing, like taking grass clippings out of Clay Aiken's yard?

Good lord, no! I'm not a Clay Aiken fan. I don't know what we're going to do. I'm leaving that up to the natives.
