Question for the ages: What is so difficult about putting on a new roll of toilet paper? You are sitting there anyway. It's called multi-tasking.
Went to lunch with Mrs. Charm-in-Law at the Cafe at Neiman Marcus. Where else would you expect to pay $13 for a french dip? She is such a sweet woman. I'm so lucky to not have a nightmare of a MIL. She is one of the nicest people I've ever met.
I have two RL friends reading HP right now! Jill is starting PoA and Lori (my cheesehead friend) is going to start OotP. I've told them both to hurry. I want to get a fresh perspective on stuff!
Jill used the word ta-ta's today to describe boobies. I haven't heard that for years! Captain Jack has, for some unknown reason, started calling my ta-ta's 'loobies.' "Are those your loobies, mommy?" No way to keep a straight face with that phrase.
I'm working on an H/Hr fic right now, tenatively titled Hermione's Journal. I'm going to have to rate it down (I started it before my Fandom Life Altering Decision). I guess I could take out the HP names and make it 'original.' But there's a magical aspect of the journal that I need. It just fluff anyway. I'm in the mood for fluff.
Based on everyone's suggestion, I searched the Library for The Eyre Affair. It was taken (i'm on the waiting list) so I got the second Tuesday Next book, Lost in a Good Book. I'm not that far into it, but I've laughed out loud at least 10 times, probably once a page. I can tell I'm going to like it. A story with a character with the surname Schitt-Hawse has lots of potential!
I need to review Jane Eyre. I just don't have the mental strength right now. Soon!
