[Why? Why is everyone leaving? Ciel, Sebastian, Miyo, Hakkai, Bowser... Why must she always be left behind? Isn't she good enough? Isn't she cute enough? Strong enough? What is she lacking that results in everybody leaving her side? There must be a reason, there has to, mere coincidence and providence can't be this cruel, leaving her all alone like ( Read more... )

[Just bumping that filter up a bit.]

Miss Elizabeth, it pains me to hear that you are alone, my dear. I would be honored to live with you. But let's keep this between us, hm? Two women alone in a house could bring trouble.

[She has no problem with that request though it surprises her a bit.]

Oh, you think so? Why? Is it socially unaccepted or something here? I thought this place was far laxer and [Even a bit debauched.] simple, regarding those things.

More of a safety issue, my dear, that's all.

But what of the staff, hm? Have you found anyone?

[Grell don't ask questions that depend on ongoing threads.]

Oh, I see. I agree, Luceti isn't dangerous often but it has... Its times. It's part of why I have decided to keep the mansion as Lord Bowser left it.

[Though the utility of those traps against super powered people is debatable, it still gives some sense of safety. And they are actually a good way to train now that she thinks about it. Just as that floating question mark block that she has in her room and is filled with dresses.]

Uhm, not really. So far all my attempts to find anyone willing or capable to aren't getting much reception. But I won't give up! Maybe I'm just being a bit unlucky and the people who would aren't checking the journals right now, so maybe later someone will answer!

[Namely Hinata.]

[Derp sorry]

Ah, all those little traps and tricks he put in there, hm?

I do hope so. I'm afraid I'm rather useless in that regard. Although I can clean - there is that at least.

[Not your fault]

That's right, though I've altered a few a bit.

[To make them a bit less dangerous. Only a bit. Lizzie blinks a bit at the comment about Grell being useless, she hadn't really invited her thinking about help with the mansion. It certainly wasn't her focus, but now that it's mentioned it makes her a bit confused but only a bit after all it can be explained easily.]

Was cleaning what you take care of while you worked for my aunt?

Ah...yes. I cleaned and drove the carriage. I tried to make tea and other things, but she was never very pleased with the results.

[Lizzie giggles.]

In that case I'll take care of making tea! I think I have got a bit decent at it since I came here.

[At least Ciel never complained beyond the obvious displeasure for it not being as good as Sebastian's. But he still drank it so it had to be good and she herself hasn't ever found it too bad though she has had better teas.]

Oh? You're such a dear. Now all we need is a cook.

[Somehow.]

I wonder if we can't employ one of the restaurant chefs.

But they already work a lot at the restaurant, don't they?

Hm...I suppose. There has to be someone here who can cook.

[ooc; i would offer up Japan, but he'd be an outsourced chef and not the live-in kind?]

[Lizzie giggles.]

I'm sure there are many people who can cook, maybe they just aren't interested in cooking for others.

[Not everyone can be going to the restaurants to eat after all, can they?]

[ooc: Well, Hinata is turning out to be an outsourced help so I don't see why not. Though with the apps going on and such maybe we should leave those two without a cook a bit longer and see if they are lucky to get someone new or something.]

[Grell sighs and shrugs.]

I honestly couldn't blame them. It is quite the chore.

[Grell lets out an amused sigh now instead and smiles.]

So, when would it be most appropriate for me to settle in, hm?

[ooc; |D I'm good with that then. o/ Hopefully they get lucky!]

It is... Though, at the risk of sounding unladylike, I have to admit that it felt rewarding to give my fiancé something I had prepared by myself in the kitchen.

[The biggest problem came over cleaning the mess she had made in the kitchen but still it was an experience that she didn't dislike precisely.]

Oh, whenever you please would be fine! The empty rooms are already prepared for someone to move in, there's nothing to change to another location or anything... The returns are... Convenient in that matter.

[Because they leave basically nothing after them. Though she was able to find a few things from Bowser.]

Oh, but isn't that ladylike? Or is the word domestic? Ah well. It's cute and that's all that matters.

Perhaps later this evening then, hm? I need only pack my things and I can move.

Poetry over philosophy.
Embroidery rather than cooking.
Dance instead of chess.
Be an unknowing angel.

[She's obviously reciting something by memory.]

Every lady is raised by these words. And cooking is a chore reserved for servants, many would argue that a lady shouldn't do that, don't you think?

The evening sounds wonderful. I'll be waiting for you in that case. Will you have dinner before coming or should I try to prepare something?
