Going to too many Christmas parties this year? Too many Hanukkah parties, Kwanzaa parties, PC "Winter Festivals" and New Year's Parties? Never fear, I will not add another to the list.
You are all cordially invited to my Non-Holiday-Affiliated party. This event, which has no reason for being except that I wish to have a party, will take place on Jan 7th, a perfectly ordinary day. It also happens to be a Friday. It will be at my mom's house in Friendswood, which may still be decorated for Christmas but only because we really like Christmas and not because I'm having this party. You do not have to wear red and green. You may bring anyone you like, and the beverage(s) of your choice. And as usual for my parties, if you don't come I will cry.
