There's No Place Like Home
I am sunburned. I am covered with mosquito bites. My arms are sore. I have a big purple bruise on my thigh. I had a great weekend.
I went back to Texas for a long weekend of family bonding, and it was wonderful. We went swimming and sailing and kayaking. We went shopping and got pedicures and watched chick flicks. We ate fajitas and brisket and salmon tacos and steak and peach cobbler and capuccino brownies and Blue Bell ice cream. I did not want to come back. But I did, because I had to. Vacations are never long enough.
