Everyone likes haiku, even the Freakonomics guys. They're running an economics haiku contest. I didn't enter because I couldn't think of anything witty enough, but you can read the finalists and vote for your favorite here. They're all pretty awesome, but I think I like this one best:

No matter how hard
I shake my money maker,
It is not enough.
