I love girly movies, and the giggly tingly feeling in my stomach at the mushy parts. Beth got You've Got Mail for Christmas and we all just finished watching it. It's not a classic chick flick like Sleepless in Seattle, but cute enough.
Christmas was good this year. The food was good, the company was good, and the presents were nice too. Everyone seemed to like what I gave them, which always makes me happy, even if they weren't as spectacular this year as usual. My presents were good: a coat to take to France, a complete set of professional grade Calphalon and lots of gift cards, so I can shop without the pain of spending money. Goodie. Also a rather astonishing present from MJ, and a creme brulee torch from Kellie that fit in with the culinary theme quite well. After dinner I swore I would never eat again. Then I downgraded it to never again - today. And an hour later I was eating chocolate cake. I am going to get fat again, but right now I can't really quite care.
