You know, boob jobs have never been more popular than they are right now. There is also a growing market for butt surgery, to give women a nice round perky butt like J. Lo's. Presumably, women paying dearly for these surgeries in both money and pain are doing it to make themselves more attractive to men. Men, we are told, like women with curves in the right places, those "right places" being boobs and butt. This is only half true. As a woman with copious quantities of curves in these exact places, I can speak from personal experience. There ARE men who really like that hourglass figure - they just generally happen to be from third world countries. I get Arabs. I get Latinos. And tonight I got a West African. I'm only two continents away from "dance with me" bingo. Unfortunately, it may be some time before I can claim my prize, because I can't get a white guy to look in my direction to save my life. This is not always a problem. Latinos at least know how to dance. But right now I'm just in the mood for a nice blue-eyed corn-fed meat-and-potatoes white boy. Is that so wrong? Meanwhile, the white guys tend to go for those other girls: the size 2s with barely a bump either above or below. At this point it seems like my best options are massive body resculpturing or changing my taste in men. And maybe learning Spanish. ¿Como se llama? ¿Mi casa, su casa?
