Depends on your perspective, I guess. I come from a world where magic really isn't all that common-place -- so when it comes down to it, the pokemon seem to be fairly magical.

I suppose! One of the worlds I traveled to before this one was similar to this, so this all really isn't too new to me!

Ah, so you're a veteran. What's that world like?

Oh, instead of Pokemon, they were called Kudan! Every person had one--they were the Gods of that world, watching over each person individually! They too had special attacks, and they were turf wars!

In that world, there wasn't any gym battles, or training! The kudan you received already had their power levels gained!

Gods? [hm] I can see how that would work. Wouldn't it be interesting if pokemon had the same function here?

Oh, it would! But there seems to be many of the same kind of Pokemon here, and there were not any of the same God on that world!

Species of Gods, maybe. Given the way this place is, I wouldn't be too surprised at a few loopholes here and there.
