i hope everyone that i know had a fabulous weekend and that everyone had an amazing time with friends.
i went to Richmond VA/Harrisonburg VA this weekend with my friend Georgia. It was amazing.
i went to visit my band friends, Murphy's Kids, who rule at kicking ass while playing ska music.
it was possibly the best road trip so far, and i hope i have many more.
they are super nice guys and they made the stay in the Virginia so wonderful and beautiful.
so much happened that i really don't remember most of it, i just know that i was smiling a whole lot.
and i met some really amazing new people who are really awesome and sweet.
i wish i had a video camera so i could make a mini documentary on my outrageous weekend, but it's alright,
i'm planning on writing a mini book about it.
i had the chance to sit down and listen/view a band practice for real, for the first time in my life.
i've been to band practices before, but they were all silly ones where everyone just plays around and there are a billion friends just watching and playing games. but the MK band practice was for real. it was really beautiful to watch how the music is being made, how they get ready for the show, how they add last minute little changes that make the set perfect. i wish i had that talent. it was amazing.
in conclusion,
i will be taking many more road trips, because that's when life happens.
life happens when you stop worrying and start living.
there's a big world out there with so much to see.
seeing new places, meeting new people, having new experiences, and falling in love is what life is all about.
at least that's what i tell myself.
and i haven't been wrong yet.
