I wish it was last Saturday. It was an awesome day. We got up early to get in line early. We were the third group in line. It was ridiculously hot. We ran into these two girls Gina and Christina who we had met at Bamboozle and the NYC TRS show. It was cool. Time to go in the stage was too high so we decided to not stand front row but the next step up front row. It was the best spot cause you were level with the stage and the people in the bottom had to like look directly up to see the people on stage. Plus all the bands were eye level with us so we got lots of eye contact.
Brandtson were amazing. I love them oh so much. I'm pretty sure besides maybe two people me and Maria were the only ones singing along word for word.
Nightmare of You were already buzzed by the time they played, but it was all good because they were still amazing. Brandon was very entertaining haha.
The Rocket Summer came out and I felt so happy. It's always that way when I see Bryce. I love that little borderline midget haha. This set was the most sincere I've ever seen Bryce, he was so glad to be playing that venue and filling it. Right before I Was So Alone he was asking people to come up on stage and he found us in the crowd and was like "You guys.. come up!" So we went to get up and some girls tried to block us from going up. Then Bryce was like giving us this face like you have to come up. So we pushed girls out of the way climbed up on the stage and I stood right behind Bryce. It was insane the amount of kids on stage and in the crowd. Bryce put the mic in my face during the last line and made me sing. It was awesome. Stood front row in front of Jed the rest of the set. It was amazing.
Afterwards we hung out met the dudes from NOY. Ryan was like hugging us to death he only left cause he had "to go make out with my gay friend....well not really. Maybe." And even though Joe almost called me a slut cause I told him that I actually downloaded their cd instead of buying it. He ended up being happy and taking a picture and hugging me as long as I gave him a pringle. Brandon we were intimidated by cause uh he was in the movielife and he seemed standoff-ish, he was super nice though. The dudes from Brandtson were awesome too. We waited around to talk to Bryce like we always do. We were the last people in the venue talking to Bryce. He called Johanna Ken cause he thought thats what she said her name was. The night turned awesome after this. We got kicked out of the venue cause they needed to clean so Bryce was like...just meet us out back. So we waited out back and acted dumb. He talked to some fans and a lot of his high school friends were there and he was gonna go out to eat with them. Then he invited us. So we went. I thought it would be mega awkward cause we only knew Bryce and it was him, Tara and all his friends from high school but they were all amazing. We ate awesome food. It was cute we all shared our food. Then his friends left and we hung out with Bryce and Tara for a while. It was an awesome night and I miss Tara and Bryce. Even when Bryce was making fun of us and honking the horn of the van at us and blinding us with his high beams and laughing, or even when he was stealing my jokes even though they werent funny when he said them. Hopefully time will go by fast until I see them again. ACL is right around my birthday, so that show should be awesome.
