You toss and turn I lie awake.
I haven't updated in forever. Lately I've been hanging around watching the first season of Grey's Anatomy on dvd and watching insane amounts of the suite life of zach and cody, hannah montana, degrassi, drake & josh, and ned's declassified guide. I'm kinda lame sometimes haha.
But what has happened since I last updated...SXSW happened last month. If you wanna know about that I posted a myspace blog about it here. I got to see Gracer which is Justin from Lux Courageous' new band. It was great to see him again he's amazing and I basically love him. And the fact that he remembered my name since no one ever does made me love him more.
I went to see TAI in Florida on April 9. Yea, it was spur of the moment "hey wanna drive an insane amount of time to see the academy is?" type of things. It would have been amazing if all of us would have went but there wasn't enough room so Midea ended up staying here, and we missed her the entire time. William's face when he saw us was priceless, but apparently he's a big star and he had like security around him who were super mean and strict so I only got to talk to him for a short time which we were both sad about. But it was still amazing to see him <3. The only other boy we got to talk to was Siska and he's so cute, I love him. I love them all so much. Oh and St. Petersburg is insanely gorgeous.
Last week on Wednesday and Friday I saw the other collective loves of my life, Mae. I love those boys more and more each time I see them. Wednesday we drove to college station and hung out in line by ourselves for an insane amount of time. We eventually got bored and went to the dollar store to buy old maid, a puzzle and other stuff to keep us entertained. Jacob came and talked to us in line and told us that some place was having a contest where you could win an ipod nano. Midea ended up winning one of the 5 they gave away that day, insane, yet awesome. The show was fun we watched over it who are always fun to see. Ryan from don't look down is now in the band. It was his first show. I love him, but I still miss dont look down. Mae came on and I think we were pretty much the only people there who knew the words and sang along. Hence Dave sang to us the entire set. We got out after and walked around the hugeee arena and ran into Bryce (for those who don't know he basically is the rocket summer) and both of us were suprised to see each other. Talked for a long time and throughout the night we kept running back into each other and hanging out all night long. Talked to Rob and he was amazed it was our 15th time seeing mae and said that now since we've seen them so much, "we're family". Talked to the over it boys, discussed Don't Look Down with Ryan, him and Nick were amazed that we even knew dld. "Get it off, son!" "Check it out, young blood" They are so hilarious. Watched yellowcards set and it was amazing how many people didn't even know stuff off of like ocean avenue. I'm the opposite I know none of the new stuff. They played a bit of rocket...it made my night. Went back out by the merch and talked more to bryce, we got so wrapped up in conversation we didnt even realize that the whole place had already cleared out. Jacob came over and joined our conversation and we heard all about the business aspects of trs and mae. Haha Jacob left and Bryce was going with his friend back to talk to people backstage so we were gonna leave but bryce was like "come on come with us." Yea so we ended up just waltzing backstage cause there was like no security there and hung out by the buses. Witnessed a skank train get on the yc bus, hung out for a while, told secrets, laughed alot until we eventually left. Fun times. Me and Maria decided we're going to see TRS at the knitting factory on cinco de mayo in New York when we go up there for bamboozle. It should be fun plus we get to see Hunter from Paramore too! I love him.
Friday was a super small show at Emo's with only mae and over it. Cruiserweight played too but I don't like them. Seth from over it and me sung to each other and he gave me his pick it was cute. I yelled "get it off son" to Nick and Ryan and they got all excited haha. Their tech/merch guy looked so familiar it had been bothering me since college station. It was Alex who had gotten kicked out of YC a long time ago. It was weird, I talked to him after the show though he was nice. Jacob threw me an easter egg from on stage. It was cute it had jellybeans and a guitar pick in it. The show was really fun. We talked to all of mae but Dave, but that's normal since he spends all his time in Texas with his girlfriend and since he never sees her you can't blame the dude. Mark was kinda funny he kicked gum onto some girls pants, but we realized when we talk its awkward which is why we never talk. Talked to Jacob about tons of stuff, which is secret but when it comes out you will love it. Our conversation was...entertaining to say the least haha. We left and went to Ihop where Midea went into extreme detail about how she loves bread. I have it on video I have to upload it one day.
Oh I just read this bulletin from Houston Calls on myspace
"hey you sexy beasts you, just letting you all know we'll be coming to your town (if you live in the USA) between july 6 and august 20. that rules, i cannot wait since i love to hang out and have fun. seee you there i hope, soon we'll have dates up, but i know we'll be all over texas, up to seattle and finally coming to mass and RI etc..."
Part of me thinks they put that Texas part cause I just recently had a long discussion with Tom Chitty about how the closest they're coming here on their tour with Daphne Loves Derby is 5 hours away from me, I'm still going though.
I also just recently bought a black Ipod video. I should get it in a week. I can't wait.
And I'm done, I have to go to school tomorrow and this is uber long.
