hmmm i dunno but i think that this article may be another way God is telling me to strongly consider md/phd. i know it's crazy but i want to be able to really make a difference in the lives of others- especially those in academic medicine ;).
check out this article: this guy is the director of the human genome project which just incase you haven't heard is one of the most groundbreaking discoveries modern medicine has ever made. he'll probably end up with a nobel when the data is complete just watch :)
