i can't believe i'm moving again...in a week.
it's been really nice to be at home. i've spent a lot of "alone time", which is exactly what i needed and wanted.
it's, also, hard to believe that this is my last week at work. i have ABSOLUTELY loved my job this summer. my mom has known some of the Habeebs for a while, but it's really been nice working for them. i have adopted a grandmother...according to Mrs. Habeeb...and Linda has been like a second mom to me as well. it's gonna be hard to leave.
it sucks though, cuz now i'm ruined for life. not that i expected anything LESS than the best, but now i know what the best is...and there's no tricking me now. i know exactly what a good diamond is and looks like...and if i get some trash from a mall...oh, i'm gonna be pissed. that stuff is HIDEOUS. i'm telling you i'm ruined. the other day i was teaching a friend's mom about the different stones and their colors. it's been soooo much fun working there.
if i didn't have so much to do this first semester, i'd definitely try and find a job in a jewelry store. when Linda went to college at UIW, she use to work at a store off of Broadway, but she doubts its still open now. but with being Rush Chair and having to cheer for Football and Basketball...there's just no time after classes get out. maybe next semester though...specially since i'm done with the pledging stuff...wahoo!
well, the whole packing process has been a nightmare. it hasn't even started. oops. okay, so right now, i'm gonna try and sort through some stuff. but we'll see how long that lasts. specially, since i've got work in the morning.
