It's been awhile.....
It has been awhile since I have updated. I just wish I could update this thing during the day, not when I am supposed to be sleeping. But since I swear to myself that I have insomnia I am up all night, half the time I only get 3 hours of sleep.
Well, Rachel and I start our clinicals tomorrow at Birhwood Nursing home on Hamilton Mason road. I am really looking forward to working with real people instead of Manicans. I am also kind of nervous. There is just so much stuff to remember going into the patients room and doing all of these procedures and having to remember the steps of Universal precautions. But it will be great practice for me before I take my state test in July. On Tuesday I am mailing my certificate to Kettering so hopefully that will help boost my chances of getting in for their winter term. By the way the certificate that I am talking about is The State tested Nursing Assistant. I need it for school and to get a good job. This next week I am going out and looking for a job. The hospitals are willing to pay any where from $12.50-$13.50. That way I will be making some great money and then still having Frickers money on the side.
Not much has been going on in my life lately. School is finally over and now I am just working. I have been hit or miss with the gym. But starting tomorrow I am getting back into my routine again. I have 1 hour of cardio and 1 hour of wieghts. I need to get back into shape. I might have to be in a bathing suit this weekend...**I have never like bathing suits..EVER**!
Me and Rachel are still living in Middletown. We love it here. It's really nice and we like having a space of our own. The only down fall to these apartments is that there is no central air!! So I broke down and got a window unit for my room. I cant stand the hot sticky weather..especially when you are trying to sleep. I can deal with the temperature being high but I cant stand the humidity. Thats the one bad thing about living in Ohio the humidity will kill ya.
Anyways, I met up with Felicia on Wenesday. I havent got to see her in awhile. We headed over to Towne Mall for a little bit. It was fun!! I miss her. I am glad she is back living in town so I can see her more often.
Moving on...Today and yesterday was so much fun. Mike and I went to his step great grandmothers house for dinner with his dad and step mom. Then we headed to the movies to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It was awesome. I really reccomend that movie. Brade Pitt and Angelina Jolie are so HOTT!!! The today we went to Traders World. We both havent been there in about 4 years. It was a lot of fun.
Well, I think it might be time to try to lay down and fall asleep. I really think its time to go and see the doctor about this little problem of mine. The lack of sleep is killing me.
