Superhero- ficlet #19
"The film is over, Hermione. You can stop drooling now." Cedric scowled at his girlfriend as she unlocked he door to their flat.
"Oh boy, someone is jealous." Hermione smirked at him over her shoulder. 'Damn her,' Cedric thought. 'She knows exactly how to push my buttons.'
"I'm not jealous of a fictional character, although I am worried for you because you couldn't keep your jaw from dropping the whole movie." Hermione rolled her eyes at his words.
"Oh please, Cedric. You know you liked the movie as much as I did."
"Hermione, no one could like that movie as much as you."
"Well can you blame me?" She asked him.
"Steve Rogers is the best superhero ever! He's so brave and selfless and good inside!"
Cedric scowled again. He turned towards their bedroom, intending to get ready for sleep. He stopped when he felt Hermione's arms around his waist and when she snuggled her face into his back.
"Just because I say Captain America is the best superhero, doesn't make him my favourite. You're my favourtite superhero, Ced. Because you love me and take of me and protect me. You're my superhero."
He turned around to face Hermione and put his hands on her face to bring her closer to kiss.
"Damn straight, Hermione."
