Back in the habit

OK, so it's been almost 3 months of non posting. Here's a rundown how/why this happened:

-moved into studio apt at grad school shortly after last posting
-realized dog ate power cable cord to laptop so had to go to computer lab to check email stuff
-been too broke to buy new cord
-too busy to post anything

As for grad school:

- classes are SO amazing that I quit my job so I could be more engaged in life and studies
- so far I'm having a blast and have made amazing friendships
- adopted a cat even though school doesn't allow pets
- realized I could get away with this because of certain other individuals with contraband on campus
- cat's name is Mont-ee (pronounced like Monty, as in Monty Python)
- Named LOVE Officer and am in charge of community building events via student council
- am embracing my love of VHS movies to the hilt recently-did you know the dollar store sells them? I'm in heaven
- Am volunteering at a crisis pregnancy center
- Eh, studying every now and then (hehe)

Now you know why I haven't posted in awhile? There's the rundown and I hope to get back into the habit of keepin' ya'll updated.
