Life in Mono
my poor girl has mono. yesterday, her neck got all swollen and funky, and she was feeling lethargic, so I took her down to urgent care. They did a blood panel of whatever sort, and it came back positive for mono. Sucky. I had it when I was 13. I had it so bad I was hospitalized for about 3 weeks, and I missed a half a year of school. The doc told me that only 1/4 of cases are that severe, and that 50 percent of people get sick for about 2 to 4 weeks with some residual lethargy a couple months after. I sure hope sunny doesnt get it like I had it.
