Yes, finally! Tomorrow will be my last day in this shitty job that over the year I have come to loath with a passion I'd never known before. Gone are the early mornings, the £130 month travel expenses, stuck on a train for an hour a day. No more shall I endure the wittering and singing of the Auntie, her prejudce views and downright imbecilic comments. I'm free, FREE!!! (nearly).
So yes, I'm feeling not too bad. Obviously I still have today and tomorrow to get through (today is being typically boring and irritating), but knowing that very soon it will end for good gives me a warm fuzzy feeling in my tummy and makes me want to jump for joy! In fact.....*jumps for joy* - see?! Told you :-)
I'm looking forward to tonight too, as I'm going to see 'Waiting for Godot' with my mate Jen. I love Jen. She's Canadian, and is over here for a year working and stuff. She is doing theatre at uni in Vancouver, and is totally overwhelmed by all the theatres, shows, plays and performances that are on in London. I went with her to see Chicago, and shes been to see a couple of things at the Globe (she kept trying to get me to go with her, and although I love Shakespeare, I've been before and I really don't fancy standing up for 3 hours in the cold, after having worked all day). We'll probably go to Wong Kei's chinese in Soho for dinner - its great there; masses of cheap, delicious food and free jasmine tea all night. Should be a treat!
Not particularly looking forward to the weekend though, as I'm working the whole time. I am, however, going to re-join the gym on saturday. Working right next to it means I can no longer find excuses not to go. But as mum will be off work for at least 6 weeks, we can go swimming together once her physio gives her the ok.
And then Monday? Monday I sleep til whenever I want, laze about all day and go to work at 6pm! Yay!!!
