Getting very close....
........to booking the tickets!!
I got some numbers for various different travel places, like STA Travel and Travelbag, and I got me some quotes for a one way flight in january to Perth, stopping in Thailand on the way. And the results are good!
I was expecting the tickets to be around £600, but actually they've all turned out to be just under £500, inc. tax. It seems that this is as good as it'll get, which is cool by me, seeing as those tickets are for travel at any time within a year - so no restrictions on getting to Australia, i.e. we can stay in Thailand for ages if we want!!!
So now I feel like I'm this *holds thumb and forefinger very small distance apart* far away from going for definate. Until I get that ticket I won't feel like its real.
I emailed Caroline, but she hasn't come back to me yet. But then I spose she wants to do her own quote-hunting, and there isn't any rush.
But I wanna go NOWWWWW!!!
