I'MMA GONNA BE ON TEVELISION!
Thursday, October 11th, 22:30 GMT. The XLeague TV programme 'Games Night', which is a 45 minute topical panel discussion programme, has invited me to be one of the panel. I have no idea who I get to sit alongside yet, but last night they had Big Boy Barry on the show! As long as it isn't Fragdoll Jam I'll be a happy man indeed!
Why am I on the show? Simply because I have posted enough gobshite on the forums now that they felt they can't ignore me any longer! Or, maybe they actually mean what they say when they say they want to give gamers more of a community feel, more of a 'me factor'. After all, they did approach me a while back to head up a team of match reporters, but I had to turn them down due to not feeling like I coul commit the time that the venture deserved. Kinda regret that a little now, but I know I would have spent ages beating myself up if I had given less than 100% effort to the project.
So, there you have it! Farting about on the interbutts all day CAN reward you sometimes. Now I just need to decide which meme references to try and sneak in to the show ...
(For all you US and non-Sky watching people, if you are interested in seeing it then let me know. I plan to get it recorded to DVD, and may well be able to youtube it as well.)
