AGE OF SAIL HAS NEVER LOOKED SO GOOOOOOD. :D

I had no one to fangirl over when I got that 8-disc set for Christmas.

BUT YESSSSS.
Hornblower. :D

I don't know if it's Horatio's big (puppy) eyes, Archie's (adorable) geekiness, or Bush's...er, overall humor (?) but love love love this series.

my love for you went thru the roof and has erupted into smiley face and heart fireworks. yes. so many hearts.

Gawd. Hornblower, why do you do this to me? you are so awkward and sometimes (most of the times) you have a stick up your arse but I let you by because you're what a mathematical genius and do amazing things while I am not. And Bush! Bush, read me to sleep with your voice. mmmmmm......

Do not get me started on Archie. >_> He hit my soft spot a tad too hard. And I was left reeling and sputtering and overall appalled that I, well, want him so bad.

IDIDN'T SAYTHAT.

Smiley face and heart fireworks! *admires the pretty colors and shapes* I think I only know of...one other person who actually has watched Hornblower and then went on to like it. (BUT - I forced had my parents watch two episodes and they actually liked it!)

HAVE YOU SEEN THAT IMPROMPTU "SHOWER" SCENE ON DECK??
(I will openly admit that I only started watching the series for Mr. Gruffudd)

Bush is just...I don't know what to say about him, but if he wasn't part of the episodes, a lot a lot would be lost.

ARCHIE. He's sweet and almost as awkward as Horatio at times and fjdksflsjk have you seen Jamie Bamber and what he looks like now in Battlestar Galactica!?

(oh yessss, oh you so did)

my parents chased after it like the wind. my father loves the series and he thinks Horatio is pretty much bomb and Archie...cute? okay dad whatever ( ... )

Hahaha, I don't think either of my parents mentioned good-looking sailors. But they did enjoy the historical aspect of it. (which is why they watch lots of...korean/japanese/chinese history drama shows)

Oh ew, yeah. Great Expectations...Ioan was not...all that good looking. (I actually have it on DVD, since my aunt gave it to me for Christmas along with Hornblower, needless to say, I enjoyed the latter more) At least you didn't see him in Wilde yet? His wig/hair/makeup for that movie was atrocious. No joke. I'm not a big fan of classics being made into movies.

It's kind of sad that Archie gave himself up for Horatio. DDD; Even if he was already dying and didn't have a chance to live/survive. (I was quite djfksdlfsk when Horatio and his band of merry men "re-found" him again after he had disappeared into whereabouts unknown)

And mmm yes, Jamie Bamber now, I have to say is > Jamie Bamber in Hornblower because while his adorable-ness was...well, adorable, him now is just sdjfksdlf and very very squee-worthy ( ... )

Well I reckon my dad meant cute as in cheeky and mischievous but I'm so bad with translations half the time it's not even funny. because you know, your dad saying a guy that you're painfully smitten with though you don't want to admit it is really weird.

NOPE. HAVE NOT WATCHED WILDE AND WILL NOT. >_> Great Expectations can witness to that.

When Archie was refound, I was like: IT'S YOU!!! WHY ARE YOU...HOW...WHAT. And then shortly, "wow, makers of Hornblower, can you make this any more...gayer?" But I was fine with it because Horatio was having bonding time with Archie after how many years of separation and it was all so devastatingly cute and yeah, I need to stop right now.

Jamie Bamber now puts me in a very strange state....like trying v. hard to not oogle though is quite obvious I am oogling and probably salivating at the same time yet REALLY REALLY DENYING ANY CLAIMS OF FINDING HIM ATTRACTIVE.

Wow, I fail so much right now.

Er, yeah...that would be awkward. *blinks* To say the least. Thank goodness my dad has never actually mentioned cute to anyone/any movie/TV I was watching. (and that would be why I don't always like watching shows with my parents, because wow...awkward!)

I...started watching, then stopped. BUT I HAVE IT ON MY HARDDRIVE. (I should upload it for you and then force you to download and watch...just for fun *grins evilly*) But I do promise Ioan looks much much better in Solomon and Gaenor.

LOLZ. I have to say, makers of Hornblower were pretty much awesome for what they did in writing the scripts. LOTS OF HAPPY THERE. And yes, devastatingly cute would be about right...and then that time Horatio spent in the isolation cell/underground jail!

I've actually never watched BSG, but one day I saw a picture and just...WHO IS THAT GUY? Then I found out it was Jamie Bamber and I was BZUH!? NO WAY IS THAT THE SAME GUY WHO PLAYED ARCHIE!

Nope, no - not at all fail - very much awesome. :D

Oh parentals. My mom loved Archie too. In that dreaded episode where he became a beautiful martyr, she came up to my room afterwards and was like, "I can't believe he died! He had such a beautiful smile." And I was like, "you too? geez."

BZUH?!!? pretty much wraps up my state of mind about now. Yes, because I need to stop staring at his uh facial bone structure. And how he's like a pocket rocket because he's not that tall and I find that really cute even though um, dude, he's a grown man with tons of muscle on him, not too cute.

NUU. I do not want to watch horrible renditions of time-era/classics whatever. kfdjlfagkf.

I'M SO GLAD I FOUND YOU. *CLINGS*

HAHAHAHA AWWWW. Your parents sound pretty awesome. :) My mom and dad were just...watching and then they said they liked it. I actually ended up showing them the last two since you can technically watch out of order and still have it make sense somewhat.

All the promos make him look tall, at least I think he does - even though he's not all that tall. But one look at his face and another at his body and WHO CARES ABOUT HEIGHT???

*snickers* Allllllright, no classics for you. :)

*CLINGS BACK* WAIT, this isn't going to be the...Horatio re-finds Archie situation, is it?! :ppppp

my dad is such a Germany NT-loyalist. I don't even know what to think but he's really level-headed too because if he's not, he's going to blow some blood vessels. and my parentals just passed the shallow genes down to me. thanks guys, thanks. my mom, just needs to take some time to adjust to everything. but hey, at the end of 8 episodes, 800 minutes, she got it. :)

NO ONE CARES. ACCORDING TO THAT AFTERELTON.COM LIST THING. (well, I don't either because I'm too shamelessly drooling and what-not....goodness).

HELLZNO. WE'RE BETTER THAN THE HORATIO RE-FINDS ARCHIE SCENARIO.

Germany NT-loyalist? TOO COOL FOR WORDS, SRSLY. Whenever I'm all GERMANY! my dad just turns around and starts to cheer for the other team. And that's when I start blowing blood vessels. :p

YAY SHALLOW GENES! I don't know where I got mine from, but...I HAVE THEM.

Mmmmm, Jamie. (even his name is hot, what's up with that??)

HAHAHAHA. OKAY! I THOUGHT SO. :D

LOL MY DAD HAS THE ENTIRE DFB KIT. It's sweet. But it's also off-limits meaning I cannot touch or try on or borrow or attempt to steal or anything suspicious like that. :P

Sigh. The story of my life: Why I will never find a boy of my own because I'm too busy oogling men like Bambi.

HELLZYEAH. *CONTINUES TO CLING*
