It was probably one of the best weeks of my life.
I met Thomas Hickey's family [unfortunately I didn't meet HIM, even though his mom said I could].

If you go in 2009 you'll have SOOOOO much fun, especially since it's in Canada.
I'm saving up for 2010 or 2012. I never want to go another holiday season without seeing that tournament live. Seriously, it's like a life goal now.

During this years' WJHC, I found out where Drew Doughty lives. Ends up my cousin (who gives a rat's ass about hockey) is buddies with his little sister who holds bon fire parties things every summer so.. :3

I KNOW. Like, every year it looks like it's in Canada with our red jerseys filling the stands.

I wish.
My brother was going to school in Ottawa, so my parents and I were going to use the WJHC as an excuse to visit him, but then ticket packages are sold out now so...I can only hope I have enough cash by 2010/2012 because by then I'll be starving in college. lol. Realistically, this goal won't be attempted until after college...even though I'd love it if it started now. Haha.

And dude...you need to crash a Doughty bonfire now!

I would totally blow off a years worth tuition to go to a WJHC game. Which is REALLY bad because my dream has been to go to a university since grade three.. and.. HEH.

My parents would hate me if I did that. Actually, the two universities I REALLY want to go to are in Ottawa and Montreal. My parents want me to go to Montreal because...I dunno, for some reason they really want me in Quebec, but I want to go to Ottawa because of, well, the SENATORS, but my parents are like "but hockey's not your priority" and I just kind of looked at them funny. I WAS planning on taking a year off after gradding high school so I could go to the Olympics, but that plan kind of fizzled.

And sure! I added you.

I love love love Montreal and Ottawa. They're my favourite places on the planet. Sometimes I wonder why I was born and raised in Western Canada...I really don't belong there. Haha.

Guh, you're so lucky to be going to the Olympics! It's like...the one time something interesting happens in BC and I won't be there. What's up with that?

I've never really been outside of Hamilton. I have, but not for long periods of time to fall in love with the city and omg, I love Montreal already and I have never been there. ;_;

Oh man...I've been to 11 countries on 3 continents...and I still hate where I'm from. lol. I've only been to Eastern Canada twice, but both times [when I went to MTL and OTT] I just fell in love, so that's why I think I belong there. Montreal is so beautiful, it's like Europe...only in Canada. You get the best of both worlds.
