5 DAYS TIL I'M FRIGGEN 18!!!
I know, I know... I'm the youngin'... but... SPRING BREAK!! I wanna do as much stuff as I can (which is just basically anytime I'm not working... 2 days a week) before Branden and I leave on the 14th. I'm so ready to get out of this house for a bit though. I can't believe I haven't gone anywhere this summer!
I have to have my... appointment tomorrow. I'm just looking forward to it being OVER WITH. Might get on the pill though so I don't feel like dying once a month.
I'm meeting so many cool people that will be with me in Watauga or in the LLC next year. I had my scholarship reception for the scholarship I got. I have a fight going on in my brain between what I know I really want to do with my life and my career and what I've been kind of painted into a corner to do with this scholarship. I used to REALLY want to teach and I still kinda do, but I don't want to completely immerse myself in a life like that. Part of the reason I chose App in the first place was because they have a Music Industries major. I just didn't want my first year in college to be trial-and-error. I've told people that I want to scout bands in the future, but I want to do so much more too. I lean more towards the new styles of music. I'll listen to my John Mayer cds over and over... I don't even know how many times I've listened to Room For Squares all the way through, and I can listen to a cd and immediately tell if the band or group is any good. I guess I partially owe that to my musical background and being in band for so long, but I know I'd be much happier with an industry job than stuck in a public school with kids disrespecting me.
Oh yeah... please tell me who will be around and not busy on the 5th, so I can get something together!
