(no subject)
I'm exhausted from work, but will try to write a coherant entry.
I bought two books today and I actually want to read both of them. Food Nation and Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies. I'm reading Food Nation for fun, but Guns, Germs, and Steel is my book for Watauga. I ate lunch with my wonderful Branden, which was pretty much the happiest part of my day, and then I had to go to work. The only two days I'm getting off are the days I asked off for... and one day I have a doctor's appointment and the other day I have my scholarship reception. I know I need to be working as much as possible thought to make up for the two weeks that Branden and I will be on vacation. I can't wait! :)
Orientation was pretty grueling. I had to take an english writing placement test which consisted of an essay on the prompt, "Television talk shows celebrate the worst in American Society", but I think that if you can't already see that just from watching them, an essay won't persuade you. I think I will be happier and more excited once I meet Lurissa and once everything won't be so overwhelming. Oh, and when I won't have to work at Ingles anymore.
That's it for now... I'm just so tired.
