chill afternoon

after a morning of activity, i decided to have a relaxing afternoon.  i headed to the yard with a whiskey ginger, and became inspired.  a few have asked, i have meant to do it, so here you have

i found an errant tree growing in the maple.    it looks so innocent and harmless, but i know better




ha! a hazlenut trying to move in with the maple.




i've had this rock for over 15 years.  it started as a weight to hold a cabinet door closed in n.y.  i'm glad it lives in a garden now.
