veggies and herbs, including
tomatoes: principe borghese, black prince (x2), grape tomatoes, yellow pear, isis candy, first lady (x2) and goliath
peppers: jalepeno, california wonder-green (x2) and chervena chuska (red)

herbs: parsley, cilantro, sage, rosemary, thyme, chives, sweet basil (x3), purple basil, sweet dani basil (lemony), oregano and marjoram. there are also marigolds here, for pest control
shasta daisy, helen's red flower (helenium autumnae), bee balm, multiflora goldfinch yellow, dianthus, veronica (red fox), flox (purple), avens (geumchiloense), lupine and beard tongue
red maples (in the pot), huechera villosa, columbine, bergonia crassifolia, chimney bellflower, bugleweed and wood aster
i have about 5 pots like this, with cosmos, snapdragons and marigold

i have also put in impatiens and marigolds in the front, and spearmint and chocolate mint where they can't do any damage. i have 4 lavender plants that will go along the fence as soon as it is stained.
