Um, icons suck just like the episode did, but that's okay. I hadn't seen any yet of the "break up" and we all know how pissed off I get when I don't see icons of their break ups so here we are. Most of them are pretty simple.

14. Ryan/Marissa (The Road Warrior)
02. Ross/Rachel

Yaaaay for R/M love (and it looks like Sadie hate) and R/R love. I'll admit, R/M has been sucking it up recently, but I have faith.

Yep, Sadie hate :D We have to have faith in this relationship "no matter what." (See, they even said it themselves)

Sadies joined the ranks of characters I despise so much I can hardly look at them (I think only Rebecca and Johnny have made that list so far). I like having characters that I love to hate (Julie Cooper, anyone?) but Sadie is just a bland Theresa 2.0. And a freaking homewrecker. I pray pray pray they find a good way to resolve all this crap soon. I miss season 1/early season 3 R/M.

She is pretty useless. She'll end up being another Lindsay and just boring the shit out of all of us until she just finally gets the memo and leaves. Oh, they'll find a good way to dispose of her, but why even waste good episode space on her when she just doesn't even BELONG THERE and we could be seeing R/M have actual problems. *sigh*

*sigh* is right. I just don't really see the purpose of Sadie, what she'll bring to the show. All she does is make Ryan end up looking like an ass. I thought this season was supposed to be about the foursome facing more serious issues than love triangle! love triangle!, such as the whacked out environment they live in or like, their future. I don't know, I just wish a lot of things about this season, especially R/M, werediffereing.

Well, according to Josh, she's supposed to bring a "savior complex" out of Ryan. Yeah, wtf, I don't get it either. I don't see how how she does anything but stand there and say 'awkward', 'thanks', and 'i make jewelery' a thousand times per episode. Yeah, I thought the same thing about this season. They said 'dirty' so I expected dirty storlyines (Theresa coming back, abuse, whatever) not dirty people. If "strip poker" was supposed to be dirty, wowwww. But I think they can shove it, so heh.
You know what I'm especially curious about...will they still go to Berkley now that they've broken up. *prays yes*

Wait when Josh says "bring a savior complex" out of Ryan, what does that mean? Either way it's BS. If it means that she's supposed to be the strong, independent girl that doesn't need a savior, then they totally could've done that with Marissa (remember her sticking up to the dean?). But instead they just made her boring and hollow. And if it means he's going to be acting as the savior then wtf, that's the defintion of Ryan already.

About the Berkeley thing...I hope so too! Even though there's no WAY in hell somebody could be like "Wanna go to Cal?" "OK" And they go there! But if they ever filmed scenes there that would ROCK because I live about 15 minutes away from the campus. Mischa Barton was around here over the weekend, I wondering if they're visiting here later in the spring for college tours?

It's total crap because supposedly he was "going to fall in love" with Lindsay. Right. That worked out awesome, Josh. Every single character that they try to bring in, I can't like because besides that I have serious issues with people causing damage for no reason (Johnny, DJ, etc) I know nothing about them! We learn nothing except they beat their family members and then their great uncle's cousin sister whatever bullshit comes in and we're supposed to love them. Yeah I get it, they're in high school and they're gonna move fast just because of what type of people they are and what they're used to, but Ryan/Marissa? I hate to say it, but, they're special! They're one of those high school loves that are just meant to be together. And if they're not, the world doesn't seem right. (yeah, I am a little biased :)) I just think that every character that's gonna come in and seem different is just the same but different looking ( ... )

I SO wish they had carried out the Lindsay plotline better. I thought the idea was great and Shannon was adorable, but the storyline went in endless circles and they made her out to be too whiny. I think if he had genuinely fallen in love with her (and if she had been a bit of a stronger character), the second season would've actually been pretty nifty. It'd give Ryan's emotional dilemna a lot more depth, and then it would've been REALLY interesting if she came back for Caleb's funeral. *le sigh*

About not knowing new characters thing, I totally agree. Especially and 200% with Volchok. Every time he comes on screen I literally yell out, "Who are you?? Why are you here???" I just don't get it! This whole Marissa/Volchok thing is crap.

Bah I just want Season 1-caliber R/M back.
