Triop Hatchings
Wednesday evening as I was out the door around 3 a.m. and I saw my first hatched triop. I was nearly out of hope because I had put the eggs in several days ago with no signs of hatching.
But today there are officially two! Their names for now are Malfeasance and Peter Murphy. When I stare at the tank long enough there are a few more little specks which appear to be moving in a sentient pattern. But I'm not at all sure whether the specks are tiny newly hatched triops or just bits of stuff floating in the water. I guess I'll find out in a few more days.
