Wow, it's been so long.
I just got my car back the other day.... finally. It looks so good. Now I just have to get them to shell out the money for the rental, which was about $2000 by the time they finished with my car. That, combined with the cost of the repairs--which was almost double their estimate-- at $6500 makes this very nearly a $10,000 accident. Poor kid's rates have to have gone through the roof.
I am so excited to be finishing school this semester. I just have to decide what I'm doing next. Speaking of which, I was accepted to all four universities I applied to. I really need to go visit all the campuses. I'm going to tag along on an MJC organized trip to Fresno state, so thats one down.
I'm so excited for this summer, It feels like summer felt when you were a kid, and you were on your last day of the year... when you empty out your locker, and throw all the paper all over the floor. I was offered to continue doing SI over the summer, so thats some money. If I took it, I'd be doing Math 20, which is Pre-Algebra. Fractions, long division, that kind of stuff. You know how little work I'd actually have to put into that?
Aside from that, I've seen a couple jobs that I'm applying for... One in escalon, paying $14/hr as a Technician. The other, as a programmer in merced (which, yeah, is quite a distance.... but...) paying $3300/mo. $3300. I don't even know what I'd do with that much money.
