I just saw the most idiotic show ever: of course, a reality show.
It's called wickedly perfect.Two teams compete to 'create a high end camping experience' (Quote from the CBS website). They bring in everyday decorators, florists, and event planners to accomplish this feat. David Evangelista, the 'New York Socialite' and resident 'expert on style and fashion,' along with his crew, judge the teams' efforts.
The Crafty Beavers create a Moroccan themed camp, lined with hanging rugs, and feature a custom built dance floor, so they can all river dance after a wonderful dinner of Cornish game hens, and smoked halibut.
In camp 'Rustic Elegance', they all wear matching plaid over shirts, while drinking champagne out of soda cans with straws. They feature a chandelier made of twig and leaf, and an elegant outhouse. For lunch, they serve turkey burgers to the unimpressed David, who turns to his partners and whispers 'Is this done? I don’t think this is done enough, I'm not going to eat this....'
For added drama, they all submit personal creations. Samples include a twig garnished photo album, themed first aid kit, or decorative box. Then, you guessed it, they vote each other off the show.
I pity anyone who actually likes this show.
