I only post when I have something to say, and I have something to say today, so I'm posting

I feel like such a flake because I haven't posted enough. The last two posts that I have made were just quiz results. Basically, the last time that I've actually posted something with content was the seventh of March, and the last time that I've posted anything has been March the twenty-seventh. I feel like such a slacker ( Read more... )

This shall be disjointed, so I'm numbering things *nods*

1) Friendships don't have to end because you have less time for them. They don't necessarily suffer either. They might change--and most likely will, no matter what changes occur in your life or your friend's. Transfering to high school is scary because of that--especially if you don't know anybody there. Friends that weren't good friends before will become stronger friends, there will be new people that you will grow to love, and the people from your past that you will never forget and never stop loving--though you may not see nor talk to each other as often. It's sad, but it's change--there's almost always an up side to change.

2) Integrated math DOES suck. Evidently they're adding Integrated 5. I'm not psyched about that.

3) You're an amazing person, Diana. You are the literal definition of a loyal person--I actually use you as an example of what I'm talking about when I'll talk about personality traits. You're one of the nicest, coolest, and most pleasant to be around people that I know--of any residence, age, gender, or any other category you could put people in. Heck, there are people HERE, in a place that you've never been, that wish they could meet you because of how freaking awesome you are ;), so don't beat yourself up TOO much over things.

4) I almost always have a similar problem with my friends where I'll get irritated at almost every little thing they'll do. I swear, there have been times when I couldn't stand to be in the room with any of the geekygirls, but still loved them to death. The same problem has come up while I've been out here, and here's how I handled it, if it helps you at all. I found that ranting about people only makes things worse, because generally the person you rant to will, out of good intentions, try to support you, which means you feel justified, which just makes you angrier. So, say I was mad at Moe for just being irritating--usually trying to be my mommy and tell me what to do. I made a deal with myself that I would not rant about Moe for 24 hours. After those 24 hours, I felt a lot better. It wasn't necessarily GONE, but the feelings had reduced in severity. Maybe your problem isn't with ranting, but the gist of it is that maybe trying to yell at yourself for a short period of time will help things. *nods*

That is all of the "wisdom" I have <3333

THANK YOU LINDSAY FAY!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

1) Next year is going to be EXTREMELY hectic because I'll know a bunch of people that I went to elementary school with for six years, haven't seen for two, and then we'll be together again for four! Then, I'll have all of the people from these past two years added into the mix, and everything gets rather jumbled. I'm excited to see how people have changed, but still, I'm going to miss going to school with all of the people that I go to school with now... There's no way to change that though, so email, AIM, and letters will become more prominent in my life than they already have...

2) WHY DO THEY NEED TO ADD ANOTHER YEAR OF INTEGRATED?!?!? ISN'T IT PAINFUL ENOUGH ALREADY?!?!?!

3) <3 THANK YOU!!!! <3

4) I don't really rant to anyone, I don't think... I usually write things down. That helps a lot, usually. It's just frustrating when you don't have time to write down what you need to get out, and it gets all trapped inside of you with no way to escape. Then, you want to explode, or implode because it's cooler, but you don't feel that you deserve to be that cool, so you are forced to explode...

THANK YOU AGAIN THOUGH LINDSAY!!!! I FEEL A LOT BETTER NOW!!!!! *hugs* Remind me to hug you when you get back!! Okay? :D

lol <3333 to teh Cheeekan

As for integrated--evidently people like Jenny and Catherine who had Integrated for four years and are then plopped into Calculus get really confused. So instead of AP Calculus, they want to put in Integrated 5. As of right now, there's also an AP Calculus class. They may only be cancelling regular Calculus--which would mean it wouldn't really affect you.

Everybody here agrees that integrated is icky *nods*

If they get rid of regular Calculus, then does that mean that I'll be put into AP Calculus after Integrated 5? I'm in Integrated 2 this year, so shouldn't I be in Calculus by the time that I'm a senior? THIS IS CONFUSING!!!!

No--Integrated 5 is in PLACE of regular Calculus. Meaning, after Integrated 4, you go to AP Calc AB--assuming the system doesn't change between now and then. So, JUNIOR year, you would do AP Calculus. *nods*
